LarixGames
Independent game studio

Games for curious minds.

We’re a small independent game studio exploring how learning, thinking and problem-solving can become part of genuinely enjoyable games.

What we’re interested in

Designing from curiosity outward.

Game design comes first. We look for mechanics that invite players to notice patterns, try ideas and understand a little more each time they play.

01 / LEARNING
playexperimentunderstandmaster

Learning through play

We explore ways of making mathematics, language and other subjects part of the gameplay itself, instead of repeatedly interrupting the game with exercises.

02 / THINKING

Games that encourage thinking

Logic, experimentation, strategy, systems and problem-solving are recurring interests.

03 / PLAY

Games children genuinely want to play

Educational value matters, but the experience still needs to work as a game.

Our approach

Put understanding into play.

We’re interested in games where mathematics, vocabulary, science or logic become tools the player uses—not questions that repeatedly stop the gameplay.

Our interests

Subjects become materials.

Not topics placed on top of a game, but ideas that can shape its rules, choices and sense of discovery.

Mathematics

Number sense, arithmetic, multiplication, division and mathematical reasoning.

Language

Vocabulary, spelling, reading, word recognition and contextual learning.

Science & Systems

Ecosystems, cause and effect, simulations and interacting systems.

Logic & Problem Solving

Puzzles, strategy and experiments where understanding improves performance.

Still growing

We’re experimenting.

LarixGames is still young. We’re prototyping different ways to combine game design and learning, testing ideas and discovering what works.
